About Our Region

The McGrath Outpost, located in McGrath, Alaska, is perfectly situated in the heart of the Alaskan interior wilderness.

Running through town is the Kuskokwim river and the famous Iditarod Trail, home to such races as the Iditarod dog sled race, the Iron Dog snowmobile race, and the Iditarod Trail Invitational (350 mile bike, ski, and walking race). And our 1200 square foot heated garage is perfect for staging/fixing your hunting/camping/racing equipment. We are also a registered FFL holder.
